When I started designing jewelry 10 years ago, my expectations were pretty small. I just wanted to make a cohesive, quality item I could wear and wanted to wear. Then, when I made the plunge into the abyss of online artists via Etsy, my dream was to actually sell something. Still pretty modest right? As an indie designer, I’ve always strived to make pieces that, while mainstream in the respect that they’re wire wrapped, stand out as original and express individuality in their presentation. There’s always that hope that something big can happen but also the reality that there is a sea of talented designers with the same hope. With that being said, you can imagine the excitement that has blossomed over time while holding on to this piece of news. And now I get to share it with you all!
Blake Lively is launching a new website next week, on the 23rd of July, titled Preserve. Among other things, the site will feature artisan made items that Blake has hand-picked to showcase in a gorgeous collective. Saressa Designs is going to be among those artisans, and I can’t begin to express how excited I am to be a part of this!
